Various elements of the course are web-based so you will need a computer and access to the internet. Webinars will require a computer with access to the internet and speakers and a microphone. Microphone may be incorporated into your computer or you may need to buy one separately for a few pounds.
It is important that you have good outdoor gear such as walking boots, waterproof coat and over-trousers and fleece jacket. Other equipment may include clipboard, ID books and a Phase 1 Handbook. Other optional items include binoculars, bat detector, GPS, compass, torch and hand lens. We will provide a suggested equipment list when you sign up for the course.
Field Studies Council ID charts will be available to purchase on courses as well as various other useful publications.
