We are always looking for volunteers, experienced ecologists and sub-consultants, who would like to help us with specific projects.

At Acorn Ecology, we believe in sharing knowledge and helping others get past the first rung of the ladder and a foot-in-the-door. During the summer months, we offer opportunities for enthusiastic and dedicated people to gain valuable work experience with our team of friendly, supportive and professional ecologists at all three of our branches.

A work experience placement is also offered as part of our Certificate course. During a work experience placement, students gain first-hand knowledge of what it’s like to work in a busy ecological consultancy. Our students take part in wildlife surveys and learn to prepare reports and quotes. Students can also take part in the continuing professional development training program, uniquely offered by Acorn Ecology.

If you are interested and you think you would be suitable, please contact us.

Please see below for our current job vacancies.
